Plastic Fantastic

After all my efforts to create my own plastics I finally decided to give up after I saw a shiny new set on sale at Pinball Heaven. I’m a bit miffed that I wasn’t able to make my own in the end, after all the effort I went to.. but I gave it a good go and I had fun, so hey, I was worth it! 🙂

The new plastics look awesome. The difference they make is really noticeable. The older plastics have obviously heavily faded over time.

In the top right pic you can see that I made a replacement for the tiny transparent bit of plastic which sits just under the delta quadrant ramp, using some left over polycarbonate, so at least it came in handy 😉
