Excuses excuses / Arch Nemesis

Since fixing all the mechanical parts of my pinball and making it properly playable, I’ve become rather lax at moving forwards on the whole restoration thing.. I feel now that I have to come clean on the reason why.

It is with sadness and shame that I reveal the following picture:

High Score

As you can see, I’m having a little problem with the missus. Not only has she knocked me off the number one slot with her 2.3 Billion score (That’s american billions. I’m quite proud to be British, but this game is from the states, and counting scores in billions sounds cooler 😉 ), but she’s also followed it up with a 1.9 Billion second place score! relagating me to 3rd place with my measly 1.6 Billion 🙁

Just to rub salt into the wound, she got the 2.3 Billion score in front of a load of friends when we had a party going on!

To console myself I made a sausage buttie with three Tesco finest range of pork and apple sausages. OMG are they good!

During one of her multiball frenzies, Rachel managed to get the ball stuck just to the left of the neutral zone, where a bit of plastic has broken off.

Stuck Ball  Washer Fix

So I got a couple of enormous washers to cover the gap. The ball can still just about balance on them, but it’s got a much much smaller balancing point. I’m not quite sure how to fix this properly. I’ve been looking online for that bit of plastic, but so far I can’t find it.. I may have to crack another cd case and borrow a dremel 😉
