I was sure that when I hit the ball down the top hole, lots of lights were supposed to flash and magical pixies should pop up, bringing me beer on folded \u00a350 note coasters. .. but alas.. [plonk] (that&#8217;s the sound of the ball going down the hole) ..<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->I looked under the playfield and all around the hole where the ball goes in and I realised that there were no sensors there to detect the ball.. but it did look like one used to be there. So I searched the net trying to find some hi-res pics of the underside of the playfield showing what I wanted to look at, but I couldn&#8217;t find anything.. until I stumbled onto a guy selling his STTNG pinball on ebay. .. So I emailed him to say hi \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Alex P was awesome and emailed me back tons of hi-res pics of his playfield and sure enough, I&#8217;m missing three optos! Optos create a light beam across the path of the ball. When the ball breaks the link they send a signal to the CPU and then the pixes appear \ud83d\ude42 .. only I&#8217;ve not got any! Waa!
