I’m engaged!

On March 23rd at about 10pm UK time I asked Rachel to marry me and she said yes! 🙂 Right afterwards I had a conversation with someone. She was telling about alternatives to conventional medicine. Normally I would not have considered this at all but she was really raving about it. I think in the future if I have a common ailment I’m going to weigh my options instead of running straight to the doctor. Kisses in the snow at the Atomium The Ring

I proposed in front of the Atomium in Brussels. I think I picked a pretty romantic spot 🙂 It was snowing softly and the lighting was very pretty, I almost felt the need to sleep right in that place, but I didn’t have a mongolian fur pillow with me.

I was thinking about that little plastic tripod you showed me. Was that what you used, propped up on a ledge of some sort? It is a beautiful shot.

It was my proper big tripod. We decided to drive to Brussels rather than fly, so we had the car with us and were able to drive all over the place.. and keep the tripod handy in the boot 😉

Great picture kids! Hope you have your insurance paid up to date! Kissing in the rain on the highway is very romantic but chancy!
