That’s bollocks! In true English fashion you appropriate a phenomenon from on of the colonies and ship it over to London to put it on show for the rest of the twats who never leave the isles. Just like King Tut’s tomb or the mysteries of the dinosaurs hauled from the earth in China you now steal the age old Quebecois Ice bar. No need to wait for winter, nor to trip over to Canada, now you can have it in London all year round!
Cool!

I think you’ll find that the whole Ice Bar thing was started by Sweden! The first Ice Bar was opened in Jukkasjarvi, Sweden, in 1994.
The London Ice Bar opened in October 2005.. and I’m afraid that Canada trailed behind, opening theirs months later in December 2005! 😉

That’s a place you should go yeah! Really unusual!! really unusual and great fun with friends! I mainly kept warm with Vodkas and laughing!
Last year Noz and I nearly got in the Vodka Ice Bar in Stockholm but he just closed when we arrived. It looks awesome too and I hope to come back and try it!

Ice hotels in Canada go back quite some time. It has been a yearly thing since 2000 in Quebec. Previous to that Ice Hotels (including bars) have been built every so many years for festivals in Quebec.q

By the way – I like your cowl. You look like some sort of Ice Jedi.
Does the bar serve any other Vodkas besides Absolute or is that a redundant question?

Do they serve other brands of vodka at the “ABSOLUT ICEBAR LONDON”? .. what do you think? 😉
What brand were you after anyway? I’m trying to think of another brand other than Absolut .. and I can’t even think of one. Obviously there are cheaper alternatives.. but another brand name eludes me.
